Although half of the French population claim to be Catholic, priests estimate that only 3-5% of the total population goes to church one time per month. Islam has grown in significance due to immigrants from first or second generation. Recently it has been recognized officially as second religion in the country. Protestant and Evangelical churches have grown from 1000 to 2000 major churches over the last 30 years. Their goal is to plant 4000 additional churches to reach 6400 places of worship, which will be a rate of one church for 10,000 people.
God is a work: many people are looking for spiritual answers in a growingly insecure world. Believers are making bold stands for Christ and are willing to be equipped as witnesses of Christ. We can see a movement of young people willing to grow and to be rooted in the Word of God, and ready to take responsibilities in evangelism. This is a perfect time to pray for France!

I will be specifically working with college students in France. There are over 500,000 students in Paris, 35 universities in paris and not very many of them know Jesus! Pray for my team!
